WE WON THE BLOCK 2021-HOUSE 5 CINEMA ROOM
When it comes to building and designing a home in the post Covid environment people are spending more time at home and in front of a screen. This is where you come together and can relax and unwind in your own home and at a fraction of the cost of regular trips to a commercial cinema. As home cinema design specialists we were bought in to face some steep compeition on Channel 9s the Block 2021 Cinema room week. We gave House 5 -Jesse and Kirsty’s room the wining edge and our luxury home cinema design took out the top prize on the Block 2021. This winning Cinema room earnt House 5 the win and also a take home prize of $10,000!
With a huge shift in how we use our homes buyers will be looking for these added elements when purchasing a home. The Block 2021 adding cinemas to their list of added extras really just proves it’s now what the market expects not an added luxury. We list a cinema room more relevant in the Melbourne climate than a pool or large outdoor grassed area as people are tending to use their homes differently these days. Our Cinema room design in Melbourne is ideal to elevate the modern house to a useable and liveable home. We are now asked to design and install cinemas on a weekly basis across Melbourne and surrounding suburs so it was not a suprise when we were bought in as the specialists to take on this task in 2021.
The above room saw the team score an amazing 39/40 with a perfect 10 from Judge Neale Whitaker giving them an additional $5000 to add to the $10000 room win prize. The devil was in the detail with luxury velvet curtains, a vintage projector, plus automated scones and lighting showing off their divine artwork hanging around the room. Jesse and Kirsty said “We were just over the moon to finally take out a win”. Integrated Electrical was just as wrapped to be able to provide the full automation and the winning room for the Block 2021 Cinema room!
